In a career full of outstanding performances, Nando De Colo outdid himself on Friday in guiding CSKA Moscow to victory and becoming the MVP for Round 5 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season.
De Colo had a double-double of 25 points and 10 assists while pacing his team to a 94-91 home win over Zalgiris Kaunas. Combined with his near-perfect shooting, 3 rebounds, 8 fouls drawn, a steal and safe ball-handling, De Colo amassed a performance index rating of 37, the highest of his 107-game EuroLeague career. What’s more, his 11th MVP of the Round award allowed De Colo to surpass EuroLeague Legend Mirsad Turkcan, who had 10 in his career, for a new record.
