After the game, coach Pablo Laso was asked about Doncic been influenced by the scouts in the game: “Luka is mentally solid and prepared to know that eyes are on him and that doesn’t change him. He did very good things today, of course, he did bad things also today. My job is to improve Luka as a player. That way we will be a better team. I don’t care about scouts, I understand everybody asks me about Luka but I don’t. He remains focused even though there are scouts watching him. He is used to it and he is been dealing with that since he was 13 years old”
Speaking about the game, coach Laso added: “I worry about growing as a team than the victories. Is not winning or losing is growing as a team. We will have Tavares with us but it takes time to include a player to the team. He will give us a lot of things that we missed today We didn’t rebound enough to run. Tavares will help you but he can’t win games. At the end is Real winning games”.
