In the last game of Day 6 of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Unicaja beat Crvena Zvezda at home registering their third victory in this season.
This result marked the first time ever that the Spaniards defeat Red Star, something that Malaga coach Joan Plaza also mentioned.
“This is the first time that we beat Crvena Zvezda in our history. We played aggressively and we started the game in right way. We had some problems in the begging of the third quarter like we had last week. That is something we have to change”, Plaza said during the post-game presser.
“I am really happy with our attitude tonight. We beat Zvezda with a comfortable lead and we have a 3-3 record at the moment and that makes me happy”, Plaza added.
