It was a very special game for coach Andrea Trinchieri as he was born in Milano and worked as an assistant coach in the club for 6 years. His team allowed the hosts to make a 19-0 run in the last quarter and they lost the game.
“They put up a very good last five minutes and we simply gave a very last gift. We controlled the game for 35 minutes, controlling everything and we gave the game in their hands. We were smart, we were up 9, 10 even 11 points and then we suddenly stopped playing the game. It’s our gift, Christmas is coming so Milano took it. They deserved to win and we didn’t deserve it as we were not constant.”, said coach Trinchieri.
