The Greek coach commented on how “hard” it is for any team to win in Istanbul, in front of Fenerbahce‘s crowd and Robinson’s injury.
“It’s a very intense match. We finally got a chance but we could not punish Fenerbahçe in the last moments of the game. It’s hard to win matches here.”
As for Robinson’s injury, Khimki’s head coach noted: “He has most likely crashed and broke his hand. With his and the other players’ absences, we will need to take more time.”
Bartzokas recognized that his team didn’t go down without a fight: “I congratulate Fenerbahce but we were also able to show our presence here.”
