Anadolu Efes announced this Monday (18/12) that Ergin Ataman will be the head coach of the team for the remainder of the season and the next one.
Ataman, 51, takes over from Velimir Perasovic, who parted ways with the team last week. Anadolu Efes fell to a 3-9 record after a tough loss at home against Baskonia.
The former Turkish national team coach will work for the third time with Efes. Ataman was there between 1999 and 2001 and also between 2008 and 2010.
