There’s no ending to the injury plague of Olympiacos Piraeus. The Reds will face CSKA Moscow for Round 13 of the EuroLeague season, Wednesday (20/12), most likely minus their top scorer and rebounder Giorgos Printezis.
The Greek power forward suffered a sprain on his right foot during today’s evening practice and is considered highly doubtful for the match. His participation will be a gametime decision.
Olympiacos are going through some major frontline problems since they are also missing center Nikola Milutinov while, a few days earlier, they saw power forward Dimitris Agravanis sustaining a season-ending injury with an ACL rupture.
Printezis is averaging 12.6 points and 5.5 rebounds in EuroLeague leading his team through a 9 – 3 record. CSKA Moscow currently stands at 10 – 2.
