Valencia announced that guard Guillem Vives will stay out of action for approximately two months after undergoing a left ankle surgery this morning in Barcelona.
The Spanish player was operated in order to fix some persistent problems on his foot that have been pestering him since the previous season.
Vives, 24, averages 4.7 points plus 4 assists in 19 minutes per game in EuroLeague and 5.3 points plus 2.3 assists in 20 minutes per game in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
