Olympiacos forward Kim Tillie is ready to make his comeback to action in tomorrow’s (22/2) home game against Valencia for Round 23 of the EuroLeague regular season.
“I’m ready to return. I think I improved my body. Now I need to be in good shape and help the team win games until the end of the season,” Tillie said ahead of the match vs. the Spanish League defending champions.
This will be the 2017-2018 EuroLeague debut for the French player who had been sidelined since mid-October due to a detached tendon injury he suffered during the warm-up of the season premiere vs. Baskonia.
“I’ve been out for too long. I’ve been training with the rest of the team for three weeks. I’m in good shape now,” Tillie added.
Even though Tillie didn’t play in the Greek Cup Final, he wants to see a performance that will bring “redemption” to him and his teammates for their lackluster game vs. AEK and subsequent loss. “We have to move on and learn from our mistakes in the Cup Final. They were expensive mistakes. We have to work hard and play a good game to redeem ourselves.”
