Real Madrid power forward Trey Thompkins will miss the game against Barcelona next Friday as head coach Pablo Laso confirmed:
“Thompkins has a strain on the abductors and he is out this week. We’ll see what happens the next one because the doctors suggested me to let him rest“. The American is averaging 10.4 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 41.4 percent from three-point territory.
Despite losing one of his best frontcourt’s men, Laso also has good news:
“Rudy suffered a sprain in the Copa and yesterday he didn’t train but he was better today. Gustavo Ayon looks better but it’s a natural process. It’s a matter of time. The feeling that you were out for three months“.
Real Madrid will face Barcelona for the second time in less than a week:
“Barca has many players that capable of changing games. In ten days you can’t change everything but when a new coach comes out, something is going wrong or something happens“, Laso said.
