Round 26 is now in the past, leaving us with mixed feelings since the overall score for the Eurohoops team was pretty high with 166.9 points, but Tornike Shengelia didn’t play at all.
The injury problem that has been troubling the Georgian did not allow him to play in the Spanish league either and for this reason we will replace him.
The changes in the roster
There will be three moves this week, while there will be no change regarding the captain, with Alexey Shved continuing in this post.
First up, Pierre Jackson will give his place to Nick Calathes. Panathinaikos is facing Crvena Zvezda and the Greens’ leader has the chance to put up a comprehensive performance and, why not, the first triple double of his career!
The second change concerns Tornike Shengelia. Anthony Gill will be in the starting line-up since Khimki will play a very important game on Efes’s home court and the American is in excellent condition.
Finally, since the amount of money that is left over is considerable, Thomas Heurtel is chosen to sit on the bench in case one of the starting guards is not able to play.
