Brose Bamberg completed the sweep over Unicaja Malaga 93-88 with a win at home thanks to Ricky Hickman. Both teams were already out of playoff contention before this game still it was an electric duel in Germany,

Ricky Hickman was dominating the floor during the first 10 minutes. The American guard was hot scoring 14 out of 28 Bamberg‘s points in the first period. The hosts built a 28-19 lead thanks to his showing.

It is clear that Hickman loves to play against Unicaja. In their first game this season he scored 18 points on the road as the German squad won that game 80-76. He finished the game with 28 points, just two points away from his career-high (30).

Brose Bamberg’s offense was working like a clock in the first half as they scored 55 points building a 13 points lead (55-42).

In the second half, the team coached by Joan Plaza pushed for the comeback, but they fell short. They cut the deficit to one point (87-86) with 25 seconds left on the clock. However, Dorell Wright by nailing a corner-three sealed the deal for the hosts.

Nemanja Nedovic was the leading force for the Spanish side with 26 points and 5 assists, but he couldn’t save Unicaja. With this win, Brose Bamberg moved up to an 11-18 record the same record as Unicaja stands on.
