Unicaja Malaga suffered a loss in Germany against Brose Bamberg. However, their coach Joan Plaza was proud of his team.

The Spanish team didn’t perform well in the first half and coach Plaza didn’t run from it.

We changed our face in the second half, but the score from the first half was too heavy for us. We improved our defense, but we had a lot of turnovers in the crucial moments. Bamberg deserved to win the game. We were a very good competitor, especially in the second half. On the other side, Bamberg’s coach Luca Banchi was happy that his team bounced back after a tough loss against Baskonia on Wednesday.
