Laso’s team knew before tip-off that they had lost the home court advantage to Panathinaikos after the overtime defeat of Olympiacos to Zalgiris Kaunas.
On Thursday (06/04), Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz lost to Anadolu Efes and finished seventh in the standings, while Khimki Moscow Region also suffered a loss to FC Barcelona Lassa, and fell to the eighth position. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens also got a crucial overtime victory in Milan, and with Olympiacos‘ loss gained the home court advantage.
The four matchups who will fight for a spot in Belgrade’s Final Four are the following:
