The Greek coach commented on the last play and the incident with Vyaltsev during the press conference: “The referee [Anne Panther] played excellently, 50-50. She gave the ball to CSKA, because Vyaltsev touched the line, but really he didn’t touch the line. It was obvious for everybody. It was really weird. Some small decisions like these and our mistakes hurt us.”

Bartzokas also explained why he didn’t insist on a replay. “I had a warning for a technical foul. I couldn’t force a thing like this. You know, sometimes things are like that. I had the right to ask. I respect the referees, I don’t criticize them, but this wasn’t a foul that could be a question mark. He clearly didn’t touch the line.”
