Panathinaikos‘ owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos, who has been penalized with a ban on entering arenas until June 30, was present on Tuesday’s Game 1 against Real Madrid at OAKA to cheer on his team’s 28-point victory performance. His presence, however, resulted in confronting once again the organizing authority.
Moreover, Giannakopoulos has already been fined a with a fine of 60,000 euros and a couple of days ago a new disciplinary action has been taken, regarding his Instagram posts after the EuroLeague meeting that took place in Madrid. And so, the case seems to be far from over.
Finally, due to security violations at OAKA, concerning the spectators, Panathinaikos as a club may also get a fine.
