Following the victory of Fenerbahce over Baskonia in Game 4 of the EuroLeague playoffs and the Turkish team’s qualification to the Final Four with 3-1, we couldn’t help but wonder what Nikola Kalinic meant by doing a gesture like he was asking someone what time is it.
The Serbian forward granted us with an answer himself:
Final 4 time. ?

Kalinic‘s (and his teammate’s Jan Vesely‘s) move was actually meant as an answer for Baskonia forward Tornike Shengelia who made the same gesture towards Fener players after his team won Game 3.
No hard feelings, of course between the two players. Shengelia actually congratulated Kalinic in a restaurant where the two teams dined after the game and told him, “you need to be in a position to do this (gesture). You deserved it,” per Ismail Senol.
Olay yaşandığı anda saygıdan fotoğraf ya da video çekmemiştim. Belge talep edenler için, mekanda bulunup anı ölümsüzleştirmiş birinden rica ettim. pic.twitter.com/y1raOXe0LD
