While awaiting Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in Belgrade, local-rivals Partizan and Crvena Zvezda mts, both from the hosting city, partnered up with Euroleague Basketball’s One Team in order to promote the sport.

On Friday, Partizan finished their program by sharing one of the club’s biggest successes in history with the younger generations. Mladjan Silobad shared his memories about the 1992 team, which he was a part of, that became the European champion despite all the hardships. Most of the ‘listeners’ were from city’s Center for Protection of Infants, Children and Youth – ‘Zvecanska’ who helped with this organization.

Zeljko Obradovic led the legenday team with help of ‘professor’ Aleksandar Nikolic and young players like Sasha Djordjevic, Sasha Danilovic, Nikola Loncar, Zeljko Rebraca and others in their quest to become the European champions while forced to play majority of their games away from home, during the wartime in former Yugoslavia.

In addition to Silobad, the club’s vice-captain and One Team Ambassador Mihajlo Andric, One Team Coach Dragoljub Avramovic and One Team Manager Ivan Ivkovic were also present.
