BELGRADE – Just after the semifinal win over CSKA Moscow, the Argentinian guard spoke to Eurohoops about what Real Madrid has to do in the Final.
The answer was simple: “We have to be stubborn, play with heart, cojones but also to produce good basketball! It’s not just getting all the rest, but finding the balance just like we did against CSKA“.
On a personal note, Campazzo added: “I was out for a month and in my first game back, I was a starter in the Final Four (laughs). I’m happy, first of all for winning and second because I played and I helped a little bit too. I had a different role from what I did during the season, but I tried to do what coach Laso asked me to do. I wanted to win. It felt amazing that I was able to play, I am pleased. But there is still a game, we have not reached the end yet “.
After staying on the bench back in 2015, Campazzo is now an active member of Madrid’s roster and he wants more: “Now I want to win it, obviously. I had the thorn of being able to play in the Final Four and I enjoyed it now, but there’s another game left“.
And for our Spanish readers, here’s Campazzo in his full glory.
