With Bamberg out of the EuroLeague, things are expected to change in the team. And as Daniel Hackett said to “Corriere Adriatico” he has a contract with the team but also “an opt-out clause if there’s an offer from a EuroLeague team”.
Brose Bamberg wants to keep Hackett, however, on the other hand, is keeping all his options open. He never hides his sympathy for Olympiacos and the buyout in order to continue his career in the EuroLeague is 175.000 euros.
This amount of money is manageable for any of the top EuroLeague teams and Hackett proved beyond any doubts during this season that he is again at full health, after finishing the 2016-17 season injured.
Of course, there’s a mid-July deadline in the opt-out clause, so the clock is ticking for any team that’s interested in the Italian guard.
