Following the last game of the 2017-2018 season, Baskonia forward Tornike Shengelia talked about the status regarding his future and with which team he’ll continue his career.
“I have 2 years in my contract (with Baskonia) and I can not say anything else, because I do not know what will happen either. Now I will take advantage of this time with the family,” Shengelia said on his future, after the loss to Real Madrid in Game 4 of the ACB Finals, per Supercanasta RV.
Shengelia comes off the top season of his professional career so far. The Georgian power forward was named in the All-EuroLeague First Team after averaging 13.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game over 33 matches.
In Spain, Shengelia notched 16.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, also earning All-ACB First Team honors.
