Anadolu Efes announced the addition of French guard Rodrigue Beaubois. The player signed a two-year contract with the Turkish club.
This is the fifth transfer for Efes ahead of the new season, following the signings of Turkish forward Metecan Brisen, Turkish center Sertac Sanli, Turkish guard Bugrahan Tuncer and Serbian guard Vasilije Micic.
Beaubois, 30, spent the two previous seasons in Spain with Baskonia. In 2017-2018, he averaged 12.4 points (on 48.5% from the field), 2.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game in EuroLeague, plus 12.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists in ACB.
In 2011, Beaubois won the NBA ring as a player of the Dallas Mavericks with which he had a four-year stint during 2009 – 2013.
While Efes has already signed five players, the club is also in advanced talks with American forward Trey Thompkins. Their big targets remain Scottie Wilbekin and Malcolm Delaney.
