Anadolu Efes announced that the team will part ways with Serbian big-man Vladimir Stimac.
In the beginning of the season, under coach Perasovic, Stimac thrived as a great rebounder but after Ataman’s arrival, his role decreased and the termination of his deal was expected.
After winning the silver medal with the Serbian national team in the 2017 Eurobasket, Stimac produced 9.4 points and 9. 5 rebounds per game in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and 12.6 points and 8.6 rebounds in the TBL.
The club decided not to use their team option and Stimac will now be a free agent.
