Dairis Bertans will stay for one more season in Italy for AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan.
According to the EuroLeague press release:
AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan on Friday announced a one-year contract extension for combo guard Dairis Bertans, who recently completed his first season with the club. Bertans (1.92 meters, 28 years old) put up 7.1 points and 1.4 assists playing 18 minutes on average over 28 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this season. His 45 three-pointers made were second-best on Milan. Bertans shot 40.9% from beyond the arc and made 85-7% of his free throws. That was his second EuroLeague season after having debuted during the previous one with Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul, when he ranked third in the competition with 50% three-point accuracy. Bertans also has eight seasons of EuroCup experience with ASK Riga, BK Ventspils and VEF Riga, all of his native Latvia, as well as with Bilbao Basket of Spain and is a regular with the Latvian national team.
