Barcelona has extended an offer to San Antonio Spurs forward/center Joffrey Lauvergne, according to Eurohoops sources. The Blaugrana are the third EuroLeague club to express an interest to the French big, after CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahce.
While Lauvergne has set his sights on returning to Europe, Barcelona is undergoing a renovation in order to retrace its path back to successes and, most importantly, titles, following a two-season drought (minus the 2018 Copa Del Rey title) in both ACB and EuroLeague.
Lauvergne has a minor experience in ACB from a brief stint with Valencia in 2012.
In 2017-2018, Lauvergne averaged 4.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game with the San Antonio Spurs.
