Nigel Williams-Goss is among the players that are on the agenda of Olympiacos during the transfer season. The Reds, however, aren’t the only EuroLeague powerhouse interested in the 23-year-old American guard.
During the Hoopfest’s Nike Center Court, Friday (29/6), Williams-Goss confirmed that Turkish side Fenerbahce and Russian club CSKA Moscow are also potential options for him.
Per Spokesman.com:
“Now, Williams-Goss said, he’s in talks with some of Europe’s top clubs, including Olympiacos (Greece), Fenerbahçe (Turkey) and PBC CSKA (Russia).
“I got some pretty good options overseas, some pretty high-level EuroLeague teams. We just felt it was in my best interest to get that stuff situated first, then deal with everything after that,” Williams-Goss said.”
Williams-Goss comes off the rookie season of his professional career. The former Gonzaga guard played with Partizan Belgrade in Serbia, averaging 16.9 points, 7 assists and 3.7 rebounds and 20.3 PIR over 30 minutes per game in ABA League.
