Maccabi Tel Aviv and shooting guard, Deandre Kane have agreed on a contract extension that will keep him in Israel for next season.
The team made it official on Twitter, with a video post and a simple statement: “Another season in yellow.”
Deandre Kane had a solid Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season last year, but Maccabi did not manage to make the playoffs. Kane, averaged 7.4 points (57.5% 2FG), 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
Maccabi’s head coach Neven Spahija said the following about keeping the 29-year old guard: “He was one of the most important players on our team last year. He is a fighter who always gives 100% on the court.”
