Pierria Henry player is currently in Las Vegas, participating in the NBA’s Summer League with the Boston Celtics but in Europe, three EuroLeague teams are interested in acquiring him.
The 25-year old combo guard has one more year left in his contract with the Turkish team, and the deadline for a EuroLeague buy out in his contract has expired. However, according to Eurohoops sources Tofas is willing to negotiate his transfer and Olympiacos Piraeus, Zalgiris Kaunas, and Gran Canaria have shown interest in him.
Henry was one of Tofas’ best players in the 2017-2018 season, helping his team reach the Turkish League Finals. He averaged 9.6 points, 5.9 assists and 4.3 rebounds in the Turkish League, while in the 7DAYS EuroCup competition he put up 10.9 points, 4.6 assists, 3.5 rebounds and an impressive 2.0 steals per game.
Turkish website “Basketfaul” first reported the interest of EuroLeague teams about the player.
