Barcelona presented to Panathinaikos free agent Chris Singleton a new one-year offer which will pay him $1,8 million net and the 28 years old forward finds it more than intriguing, according to Eurohoops sources.
Singleton is still examining his NBA options and there’s also interest from China for him. However, the flexible one-year contract which Barcelona is offering suits him and let him be free also next summer.
Initially, Singleton didn’t want to negotiate any offer from Europe. According to Eurohoops sources, Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul, CSKA Moscow, and Anadolu Efes have tried to persuade Chris Singleton to join them, but have received negative responses.
At this point of free agency, things may change and in Barcelona, there’s optimism about Singleton being one of their marquee names for next season.
