Janis Timma played for Kirolbet Baskonia last season after signing a three-year contract, but the club is willing to sell him and one of the possible destinations is Olympiacos Piraeus, according to Eurohoops sources.
Timma is offered to Olympiacos and other teams around Europe, Baskonia is willing to release him for a fee, however, he is just on the list of the Reds and not among the top targets.
Olympiacos has been looking for a forward with solid shooting capabilities and although Timma can be an option, so far there’s no real interest in him.
Head coach David Blatt will arrive in Athens on the 17th of July and will examine his options.
The 26-year-old Timma averaged 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 41.2% from behind the arc in 2017-18 EuroLeague season which was also his debut in the competition.
Timma’s best performance in 2017-2018 EuroLeague was against Unicaja Malaga in Round 11 when he scored 24 points whilst hitting five triples.
