Barcelona has been engaging in negotiations with Obradoiro for the transfer of Ukrainian center and ACB standout Artem Pustovyi as Spanish journalist Chema De Lucas twitted.
Pustovyi and Barcelona have already reached an agreement for a three-year contract and the player is pressuring Obradoiro for a deal between the two clubs. Per Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Obradoiro asks for more than 500.000 but Barcelona offers less than 400.000.
In 2017-2018, Pustovyi averaged 11 points plus 6 rebounds and 2 blocks over 26 minutes per game with Obradoiro in ACB.
Barcelona already has center Ante Tomic, forward/center Chris Singleton and forward/center Pierre Oriola in the frontline lineup for the next season. French center Kevin Seraphin is also under contract with the team.
