Two days ago James Nunnally and Baskonia were nearly ready to complete a deal for next season. Things, however, changed.
According to Eurohoops sources, the talks broke off and Nunnally seems to be heading towards another direction.
Barcelona, which was also interested in the player, has not extended an official offer for Nunnally as of now. That’s why it seems that the NBA can be considered a likely destination for the American swingman.
Nunnally’s priority after completing the season with Fenerbahce was to find an NBA contract. During the offseason, he met with the Houston Rockets and also worked out with Portland.
And what about Europe? Barcelona is still in the market for a small forward and Baskonia may make another run to recruit Nunnally, despite the fallout in the recent negotiations.
