It was almost a given that DeShaun Thomas is joining Panathinaikos and the two sides sealed the deal between them a few hours ago.
Thomas and the Greek club have agreed to a contract for next season which will pay the former Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv player 450.000 euros net.
Thomas spent the previous season with Maccabi Tel Aviv, averaging 11.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 28 EuroLeague games. He’s been part of FC Barcelona, as well as Anadolu Efes in the past, while he was named Israeli champion with Maccabi.
Panathinaikos is expected to announce the addition of the player in the next few hours.
