Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv needs one more big man of top level and Okaro White is the chosen one. According to Eurohoops sources, White and the Israeli powerhouse are already in talks and a deal between the two sides seems to be near.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have waived White on August 5. White originally signed with Cleveland on April 7, 2018 after completing a 10-day contract with the team in March of last season.
He did not appear in a regular season game with Cleveland but played in all seven games for the Cavs in the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League 2018 in Las Vegas, averaging 6.0 points and 7.4 rebounds in 23.9 minutes per game.
Before securing a deal in the NBA, he had agreed verbally with Olympiacos on a deal, after his breakout season in Greece with Aris.
Meanwhile, Maccabi announced that 20 years-old Yovel Zoosman, the MVP of the recent Eurobasket U20, will not be loaned and will stay in the team, getting more minutes next season.
