Free agent Darrun Hilliard is ready to cross the pond for Baskonia, according to Eurohoops sources from the US.
The player who was part of the San Antonio Spurs last season, after a great performance with the national team of the USA in FIBA AmeriCup 2017, is currently in advanced talks with the Spanish club. A deal between them seems more than possible, according to sources.
Baskonia was for a long time in the market for such a player and they almost got James Nunnally who opted to sign a two-year contract with the Timberwolves.
The 25 year-old Hilliard will play for the first time in Europe, if the deal is completed. He has also played for the Detroit Pistons and in the G-League.
