Darussafaka and Cory Jefferson mutually terminated their contract, the club announced today (18/8). The reason was 26-year-old forward not being able to pass the club’s medical exams.
The former NBAer last played for the Texas Legends and in 2017-2018 he was part of the Olimpia Milano team. He participated in 13 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season and averaged 3.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
Also, earlier the same day, Jon Diebler‘s agent announced that the player signed with Darussafaka confirming prior reports. Diebler has been playing in Turkey for the past six years and he last played with Beskitas averaging 41.7% from the three-point territory.
