Maccabi Tel Aviv has had a busy off-season. As ESPN reported it, Maccabi and Black had agreed on a deal. On Monday, August 20, the Israeli team announced via Twitter the signing of former NBAer Tarik Black for one-year in an attempt to strengthen its frontline before the start of the 2018-2019 season.
This will be Black’s first time playing in Europe and the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague competition and as Neven Spahija said the team’s goal for this upcoming year is to make it to the EuroLeague playoffs.
Tarik Black, 26 has played in 220 NBA games and has averaged 4.9 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
