It was already known that the two sides would part ways, and so as of Monday, August 20, Vassilis Charalampopoulos is officially a free agent.
According to ‘Prasini,’ Panathinaikos terminated Charalampopoulos’ contract and thus parted ways with the 21-year old forward. The Greek international was signed in 2012, won three Greek titles and last year played for PAOK Thessalonikis. Currently, he is a free agent, discussing potential deals with teams.
Panathinaikos did not find another team to loan him for a second consecutive season and eventually terminated his contract.
