“I’m excited to have a fresh start. This is the first day, I’m anxious, and I’m ready to get to work”, those were Keith Langford’s first words after he arrived in Athens on Tuesday evening.
The 35-year old spoke to Panathinaikos’ YouTube channel about this upcoming season: “When you are a Panathinaikos fan you buy the tickets either way because it is Panathinaikos. One player doesn’t make the team. I think the team is geared more for the Final Four. It will be very exciting.”
Langford also talked about OAKA’s atmosphere: “I’ve seen OAKA arena like this one time in 2012 when I was with Maccabi. It was a crazy game. Everybody was amazed at how the arena was. In all my life playing basketball, I have never seen anything like it.”
