The leader of Khimki Moscow region and European scoring sensation, Alexey Shved in a recent interview talked to ‘Izvestia,’ about this upcoming Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, stating that hopefully this year the team can take the next step and make it to the Final Four.
“We hope to reach the Final Four. First, we have to practice and prepare for the upcoming season. The team is working together, and everyone helps each other. The newest additions adjust quickly, and so we will take it one game at a time, in an effort to succeed.”
This off-season, Khimki’s star received four offers from NBA teams, but he rejected all of them, in order to remain in Russia. The charismatic guard had nothing else to add: “My agent, has already addressed the matter. I have nothing else to add. I am fully committed to the new season with Khimki.”
