With five players scoring in double figures, S. Oliver Wurzburg beat Anadolu Efes 78 – 74 in a preparation game held in Bormio, Italy. This was the first preseason loss for the Turkish team after three wins.
Perry Ellis scored 15 points and Jordan Hulls 13 for Wurzburg while Joe Richter, Cam Wells, and Flo Koch added 10 points apiece.
Krunoslav Simon had a game-high 24 points (6/10 3-pointers). Adrien Moerman nearly finished with a double-double (13 points, nine rebounds) and Rodrigue Beaubois scored 12.
