Olimpia Milano announced that 18-year-old Russian power forward Alexander Shashkov will join the team for its preseason preparation.
In the 2018 FIBA U18 European Championship, Shashkov averaged 7.7 points and five rebounds over 16.4 minutes per game as Russia won 4th place.
Shashkov will be registered to play with Milano in the upcoming Cagliari International Tournament. Fenerbahce, Limoges, and host Dinamo Sassari will also participate in the tournament.
