Maccabi Tel Aviv came back from 17 points down to beat Khimki Moscow 87 – 84 in the first game of the preseason “Opap Tournament”, held in Cyprus.
Newcomer Johny O’ Bryant (23 points, seven rebounds in 24 minutes) and Jeremy Pargo (19 points, six assists) led the way for the Maccabi, especially during the second half to help their team erase the 51-34 halftime deficit and win the game. Devi Avdija added 12 points and DeAndre Kane 11.
Jordan Mickey had 18 points in 19 minutes for Khimki. Tony Crocker contributed 14 points and Anthony Gill 10.
