Shavon Shields led Denmark to the overtime 98-94 win over Belarus in the Eurobasket 2021 pre-qualifiers, he had an amazing game with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists, but he has also suffered an ankle injury.
Shields returned to Vitoria for further medical examination, as he is also preparing for the upcoming EuroLeague season.
There are no details yet for the extent of the injury and how it may affect or not his participation in the start of the season.
