In their first game with an almost full roster – Nick Calathes was absent shooting the new promotional video of EuroLeague in Barcelona – Panathinaikos beat Unics Kazan 74-70.
It was a close game until the end with Dinos Mitoglou returning from the Greek national team and scoring 15 points for the winners. Nikos Pappas added 10.
Unics entered the last quarter leading by one point (57-56) but it was not enough.
