Anadolu Efes paid back Banvit for the loss in Gloria Cup a few days ago by beating them 80-72 in the semifinals of TUBAD Mehmet Baturalp tournament.
It was a fairly balanced game for the first ten minutes (18-16) but then Efes took over. They won the second quarter 24-9 eventually going on the break with a 42-25 lead. The halftime rest didn’t change much as Efes kept increasing the lead to as much as 29 points (66-37) which were enough to close the game safely.
Sertac Sanli led the winning side with 15 points and eight rebounds while Bryant Dunston helped with 12 points. Vasilije Micic was responsible for delivering the ball recording seven assists in addition to seven points.
On the other side, Alex Perez scored game-high 20 points while Devin Oliver helped with ten points and eight boards.
In the Final, Efes will face Darussafaka that prevailed against Khimki earlier the same day while the remaining two teams will fight for the third place.
