Keith Langford‘s long-awaited return to Europe arrived earlier this summer when he signed with Panathinaikos.
Langford shared part of how the contact between the two sides was initiated, stating that he was “shocked” to receive a phone call from the team’s president, Dimitris Giannakopoulos, way before his return, in the summer of 2017.
“I was shocked because he was nothing like what I perceived him to be from the other side. When the opportunity came, it was easy for me to make a decision”, Langford told Eurohoops.
