As every season, all eyes will be on the defending champs because the trophy belongs to them until another team takes it away. Real Madrid took its first of many turns in the spotlight at Media Day on Tuesday and was all smiles, as usual, full of confidence for the season ahead, which starts at home for Los Blancos with a showdown against last season’s 7DAYS EuroCup champion, Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul, on opening day of the season, Thursday, October 11!

All the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague teams have fun at Media Day, but the bar has been set this season by Olympiacos Piraeus. The Reds not only welcomed their interviewers with open arms to Peace and Friendship Stadium, but had a go themselves at playing the same role. They will start playing for keeps when they hit the road to open the new Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season on Friday, October 12 against Khimki Moscow Region.
