EuroLeague Basketball announced that a moment of silence will be held before the tip-off of Round 2 and 3 games of the competition in memory of FIBA secretary general and IOC member Patrick Baumann who passed away Sunday (14/10).
Round 2 games will be held Tuesday (16/10) and Wednesday (17/10) while Round 3 matches will take place on Thursday and Friday.
Baumann passed away at 51 years of age. He had been appointed FIBA Secretary General in 2002 and was an International Olympic Committee member since 2007.
