Olympiacos guard Janis Strelnieks was diagnosed with a strain on his right adductor muscle and will have to stay out for the next seven to ten days.
Strelnieks sustained the injury during the third quarter of the road game of Olympiacos vs. Baskonia Wednesday (17/10). The Reds won 85 – 80 making the 2-0 in the EuroLeague regular season.
Apart from missing Friday’s (19/10) EuroLeague game vs. Olimpia Milano, Strelnieks will also be out in the Greek League game vs. Ifaistos and is considered highly doubtful for the EuroLeague match against Maccabi Tel Aviv (25/10).
